Dear Purple Inc Readers,

I hope you are enjoying the new issue of Purple Inc. It is a beautiful tribute to Spring, and to working hard to make things happen.

You may have noticed that I am missing from this one. I have moved, with my family, to the Rocky Mountains. I am reconnecting with my mountain-girl roots. Of course we will be back to Kauai when the time is right - the island will always be home. We’re now creating a second home in a land of pine trees, rushing brooks and snowy mountains.

It has been exactly one year since Keri and I first dreamed up the idea for this magazine. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have co-founded Purple Inc, and also for this past year, working on these issues. It has been an extremly fun experience - and full of learning and growth. Keri is an amazing person, and I will always count her amongst my dearest friends. Also, the women that have stepped up to work on Purple Inc are talented and wonderful, and I’m pleased to have them join the team.

Cheers to all the Purple Inc readers - may this publication continue to enrich your lives. Spring is the perfect time for new beginnings, whether huge -  like moving to the mountains-  or as simple as reaching out to a new friend. Either way – Spring is the time to start something new and positive in your life. New beginnings are healthy for the spirit. I have learned that if we plant good seeds, good crops will result!
